NEW ALBUM - 'Hand To Mouth' coming 7th February 2025 Oct 1, 2024

It's been a while...

We cannot wait to share our new album - 'Hand To Mouth' - with you all on 7th February 2025.

There's also a new single, 'Grind Your Teeth'! That's out right now. WATCH VIDEO: https://youtu.be/lf61LaLfgmQ

We've been working on this for a long time and we think you're gonna really like what we've been cooking up.

You can support us directly by pre-ordering the album right here on this website.

This is going to be a grizzlier, faster paced album.

'The past few years have been a pressure cooker for all of us and I think our own pent up frustration comes across in the album.’ - Paul Connolly, vocalist.

The single comes off the heels of vocalist Paul Connolly opening up to fans about a life changing illness which took hold during a tour last year.

'If it wasn't for the phenomenal hospital staff who looked after me, I don't think I would still be here today.'

'Just as the band returned to releasing music and playing shows, my body began to break down. I tried to power through, but I could only ignore the signs for so long.

It was incredibly scary, for months doctors struggled to treat me as they couldn't pinpoint what was wrong. I continued to lose a huge amount of weight and at one stage I struggled to get out of bed for weeks. It was the lowest moment of my life.'

Paul’s road to recovery has been long but we're thankful that he’s back with the band.

‘The past 18 months have been hell at times. But it puts everything in perspective.’

‘Hand To Mouth’ is the follow up to 2018’s ‘Stability’. That debut album beat out the likes of Snow Patrol, Ash and Bicep to be the first self-released artist to win Northern Ireland Album of the Year. The band also took home the prize of Best Live Act.

'HAND TO MOUTH' is

  1. Grind Your Teeth
  2. Hand To Mouth
  3. Record Of Achievement
  4. 1000 Mumbling Virgins
  5. Climb The Ladder
  6. Monument Valley
  7. Landlord's Prayer
  8. It Takes A Bomb To Raise A Village

NI Music Prize 2018 Winners - Album of the Year & Live Band Apr 6, 2019

What an incredible night!

We are thrilled that we took home the NI Music Prize for Best Northern Irish album of the Year 2018! The NI Music prize has been awarded to the best Northern Irish album for the past number of years and is the Mercury Music Prize equivalent for Northern Ireland.

We won for our debut album 'Stability', and faced incredible competition from the likes of Snow Patrol, Ash, And So I Watch You From Afar, Bicep and many others.

We also won Best Live Band on the night which means just as much to us. We work incredibly hard to bring you the best show we can every night and winning this prize will only spur us on to work even hard.

To be the first rock act to win the prize is an absolute honour and we'd like to thank everybody who helped us over the years. There's no way we could have done this on our own and we're forever thankful to everybody who has ever bought our music, seen our show or helped spread the word about our wee band. We would be nothing without you!

Thank you!!! TWBS
